Info

Diving Sanur: interesting dive sites for the novice diver > Diving Sanur is ideal if you don’t have much time for your scuba diving adventure on Bali. The combination of the sandy bottom, shallow depths and mix of reef life makes diving in Sanur particularly interesting for the novice diver. Conditions can vary due to big tidal changes, so it is not always possible to dive there. We often use the Sanur sites for our Instructor Development courses and once in a while for our Open Water Courses, Navigation skills and Night dives. Sanur Channel > Colourful reef life, blue spotted rays, sea snakes and lion fish with the added bonus of being close to the dive center. Like the other dive sites in Sanur, the Sanur channel is often disregarded. However this site with a sandy bottom and a small house reef is great for courses and those divers that don’t have a lot of time on their hands. The reef slopes gradually to a maximum of 20 metres. During Our Instructor Development Courses we are mainly diving Sanur Channel. Tides have an impact on the times you can dive here.
