Ever wondered what flying is like? You love the diving but wanted to raise the stakes and get a little more exhilaration and adrenaline going?
PADI Drift Diver is the speciality for you and Nusa Penida is the best place in Bali (and arguably Indonesia) to do it.
Nusa Penida is known for its potential strong currents and incredible reefs, you just jump in and let yourself be carried by the flow to take it all in. This course gives you the tools to really enjoy the experience and avoid common errors whilst under the supervision of you PADI instructor.
You will do two dives in currents with your PADI instructor.
You will learn:
- Special planning and organisation techniques as well as hazards and emergency responses specific to drift diving
- Buoyancy control, entry and exit, communication and navigation in currents
- Overview of currents, what to look out for on a dive site, tides, moons etc
- Some current specific equipment
